PRAISE FOR ST. HELEN'S LITURGIES

                In the January 25, 2008 edition of  The Catholic Telegraph, Sister Rosemary Schmid, SC, of Cincinnati, wrote the following in a letter to the editor:  "Last weekend I attended the Saturday evening Mass at St. Helen Church in Dayton.  From living at the motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity, I get to experience many beautiful liturgies on feast days and jubilee celebrations.  My experience of the liturgy at St. Helen's was as beautiful as any special liturgy we have at the motherhouse.  I thought that if I were a parent living in Dayton, this would be the parish I would want to bring my children to, because there is so much singing, beauty in the way the ceremony is done, and participation of the people.  Keep up the good work!"  (Italics added.)    Thank you, Sister Rosemary, and thanks to Fr. Dave and Father Satish,  to all of our wonderful liturgical and music ministers who work so hard to create beautiful liturgies, and to all of our parishioners who enter into them so faithfully!
